Abstract

This article examines effective methods for developing students’ intercultural competence through the connotative analysis of synonyms and antonyms . It highlights how working with semantic nuances not only enriches vocabulary but also deepens learners’ awareness of cultural differences reflected in language use. Special attention is given to communicative strategies, contextual interpretation, and the role of cultural associations in shaping meaning.
