Abstract

This article provides an in-depth analysis of the theoretical foundations and practical significance of integrated approaches in teaching anatomy and physiology. Studying the morphological structure and functional processes of the human body as a unified system plays a crucial role in developing medical thinking, understanding the mechanisms of disease development, and enhancing clinical reasoning among students. From this perspective, teaching anatomy and physiology in an integrated manner increases the effectiveness of the educational process and allows for a stronger connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The paper discusses the didactic principles of integration and the innovative and interactive methods used in the teaching process (such as case-based learning, modular education, and visual models). Furthermore, it highlights effective strategies aimed at enhancing students’ independent thinking, analytical ability, and research potential through interdisciplinary connections. As a result, it is substantiated that integrative approaches, through the mutual harmony of anatomy and physiology, can fundamentally improve the quality of medical education.
