Abstract
This article identifies the role and effectiveness of language games in vocabulary acquisition, particularly in the context of foreign language learning. It explores how interactive and playful activities can promote better retention, engagement, and motivation among learners. The paper consists of a review of relevant literature, methodology of a conducted study, research findings, discussion, and concluding thoughts, along with academic references. The study concludes that language games are a powerful pedagogical tool to facilitate vocabulary development and improve overall language competence, especially among school-age learners.
