Abstract
This article scientifically analyzes the issue of improving the pedagogical skills of teachers, its role and significance in the modern education system. The essence of the concept of pedagogical skills, its structural components, and the main factors influencing the professional development of a teacher are highlighted. The article also shows the role of continuous professional education, the use of innovative pedagogical technologies and digital tools in improving pedagogical skills. The results of the study show that high pedagogical skills of a teacher are an important factor in improving the quality of education and ensuring the intellectual development of students.
