Abstract
This study analyzes the long-term, seasonal, and annual variability of atmospheric precipitation in the Sangzarsoy Basin over the period 2000–2024. The results revealed significant interannual fluctuations: the minimum annual total was 370.8 mm (2015) and the maximum was 626.7 mm (2002), with a multi-year average of 530.9 mm. About 70–75% of the total precipitation occurs during the winter and spring seasons, reflecting the continental climate regime and seasonal asymmetry in the region’s water balance.
