Abstract
This article analyzes the current state of development of modern criminological research in Uzbekistan and scientifically illuminates some institutional, legal, financial, technological, and personnel-related problems in the field of criminology, as well as the growing attention at the state level to the development of criminological research in the country. Based on the research results, conclusions and recommendations were made for the further improvement of criminological research in Uzbekistan, strengthening the scientific approach to combating crime.
